Wynn Resorts Selects MICROS Full Suite of Products to Offer Superior Guest Experience


Columbia, MD — May 6, 2004 — MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MCRS), a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, is pleased to announce that Wynn Resorts, Ltd., currently developing the highly anticipated Wynn Las Vegas destination resort opening April, 2005 in Las Vegas, has selected both the MICROS 9700 HMS for all of its food and beverage operations, and the MICROS OPERA Enterprise Solution for all of its hotel operations.

In addition to offering an advantage in customer service, the MICROS suite of products will provide Wynn Resorts with greater control over its properties. The MICROS 9700 HMS, a native open database architecture with enhanced property management and gaming integration, will also provide restaurant reservation management, guest history, and automatic signature capture for all restaurant and retail outlets located on the Wynn property.

Additionally, MICROS's Opera Suite will provide full property management, guest profile and central reservation capabilities, including an online booking engine allowing hotel reservations to be made via the Wynn Las Vegas website. And Opera Gaming, which is tightly integrated with the Casino Management System, will provide elevated control over player comps.
