Burger King Corporation Selects MICROS As Approved Global Vendor

World Wide Agreement Authorizes MICROS to Actively Market the MICROS Restaurant Enterprise Series to more than 11,000 BURGER KING® Restaurants

Columbia, MD - January 23, 2006 - MICROS Systems, Inc. The world wide agreement authorizes MICROS to actively market and sell the MICROS RES point-of-sale solution to more than 11,000 BURGER KING restaurants throughout the world.

Burger King Corporation completed a full test and evaluation of the MICROS RES point-of-sale solution in its corporate offices in Miami. Upon completion of this extensive testing, MICROS RES was selected as an approved solution based on the comprehensive criteria established by Burger King Corporation.
